Since 1987 the Galerie Albert Benamou has specialised in contemporary
art from Europe, Asia and America. Based in Paris, the gallery has
represented everything from Nouveau Realisme (Arman, César), Fluxus
(Nam June Paik, Kudo), installations (Olivier Urman), and contemporary
American realism (William Kennon, Graydon Parrish). The Galerie
Albert Benamou has lately attracted attention by championing a new
generation of Chinese artists, such as the perfomance artists Zhang
Huan and Ma Liuming, and the painters Zhu Bing and Feng Zheng-Jie.
Albert Benamou has been an art dealer since 1963. President of
the Association de Defense de la Sculpture, he is an expert (recognised
by the Union Française des Experts) in Rodin bronzes and nineteenth-century
sculpture and painting. |
